Polmarine - Bed and Breakfast

The lounge, dining room and two of the rooms above are of the original boathouse. In certain parts the Cornish stone has been left exposed, along with an oak beamed Inglenook fireplace and slate herringbone flooring to retain its own unique character.

There is a private quay and mooring lines onto the water plus direct access to the beach below when the tide is out.

All of the bedrooms, which have panoramic views of the harbour, have been very tastefully decorated and have the facility of an en-suite shower/bathroom. One of the bedrooms contains an antique Victorian four-poster bed and all rooms are provided with a TV and have tea making facilities.

Unfortunately even the best locations have some disadvantages, and because of access to Polmarine being down a number of winding steps, we regret that it is not suitable for people either in wheelchairs or walking disabilities.

Likewise, because the patio garden is only separated from the sea by a small wall it could cause some concern to parents with small children with regards to the dangers of deep water and the drop to the beach when the tide is out. However, Polmarine possesses a relaxed and homely atmosphere all of its own and a very warm welcome awaits you.
